Thanks for considering J & R Striper Guide Service for your guided fishing trip. Here's a little bit about me and the services I offer.

My name is Jarret Roberts. I was born and raised in Temple, TX. Since I was 5 years old, I've either been out on a dirt track racing cars or fishing and camping with my family. I am a state licensed fishing guide on Lake Belton & Lake Whitney. I offer half-day trips for hybrid striped bass on Lake Belton and striped bass on Lake Whitney. It's not unusual to also snag a catfish or other types of bass on a trips.

Services

My goal is for you to have a great time, I'll do my best to put you on some fish. If I don't feel the trip was successful, I'll still accept pay in full, but I will schedule you another trip free of charge.

All trips will be in my 2014 Seahunt BX 22BR W/Yamaha 200 Four Stroke. Services include half-day trips on Lake Belton and Lake Whitney. All you need to do is bring yourself and a Texas Freshwater Fishing License. Everyone 17yrs of age and older are required to buy a fishing license. I supply all of the equipment, cold bottled water and will clean & bag the fish for you to take home. If you would like anything else to drink or snack on, I encourage you to bring it.

Half-Day Trips

Half-day trips on Lake Belton and Lake Whitney usually start around day light, and we are usually done before noon. Afternoon trips are also available upon request. Daily limit on hybrid striped bass on Lake Belton is 5 and must be at least 18 inches long. The same applies to striped bass on Lake Whitney.

Trip

Lake Belton: $250 for 1-2 People, $100 for every additional person, $50 for kids under 16.

Lake Whitney: $400 for 1-3 People, $100 for every additional person, $50 for kids under 16.

Payment

*Cash or Card will be accepted*

Payment will be due in full the day of the trip.

Cancellations
